Walter Delgado’s martial arts journey began at the young age of 4 when an episode of his favorite TV show sparked his interest in earning a rainbow belt. He started training at Left Foot Academy in 2014, a traditional Taekwondo and Karate school, and joined Ripple Effect Martial Arts in 2017. Mr. Delgado earned his first-degree black belt in 2020 and is currently a second-degree black belt, about a year away from testing for his next rank.

Mr. Delgado began his teaching career as a junior instructor and has since become a Certified Black Top. Great at adjusting and adapting his style, he excels at connecting with students of all ages and backgrounds. For Mr. Delgado, martial arts is more than a discipline; it’s a place where he can focus on the moment and leave everything else behind. One of his proudest achievements is earning the Jhoon Rhee Certificate of Perseverance, awarded to those who overcome significant challenges in their martial arts journey—a constant reminder of his ability to push through tough times.

Outside of martial arts, Mr. Delgado stays active with boxing, weightlifting, biking, hiking, and camping. He also enjoys solving Rubik’s cubes, playing guitar, and sharing dad jokes. Mr. Delgado is passionate about inspiring others, and his goal is to positively influence as many people as possible, both inside and outside the school.
