Mr. Ryan Fudge was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has lived in Wauwatosa, Franklin, and now Fort Collins, Colorado. He began his martial arts journey in January 2017 at Ripple Effect Martial Arts when he was 10 years old. Inspired by his mom, who was taking Ripkick classes at the time, Ryan joined alongside his brother, and the three trained together as a family. He earned his first-degree black belt in November 2020, during the challenges of the COVID pandemic, and his second degree in November 2022.

Now a Certified Instructor at Ripple Effect, Mr. Fudge is known for his thoughtful approach to teaching. He focuses on helping students understand the “why” behind techniques, designing drills and lessons that emphasize both their purpose and how to remember them. His goal is to help every student experience the same rewarding journey to black belt that he did.

For Mr. Fudge, martial arts is a perfect blend of fun and meaningful lessons, teaching both character and self-defense. Outside of martial arts, he enjoys reading, playing the trombone, discussing sports, and watching movies. A senior in high school, he has earned several recognitions, including the National Merit Commended Scholar award, Poudre School District’s Seal of Biliteracy, and consistent honor roll status. In the future, Mr. Fudge hopes to pursue a career in physical therapy or athletic training while continuing to inspire and guide others through martial arts.
