Olivia Baker

Miss Olivia Baker was born in Longmont, Colorado and has lived here her entire life. She began her martial arts journey in 2016 at just six years old after meeting Master Wagoner at an after-school program. Instantly hooked, she jumped into training and has never looked back. In 2020, she earned her first-degree black belt and has since advanced to second degree. Now a Black Top Instructor at Ripple Effect Martial Arts, she enjoys teaching and sharing her passion with students.

For Miss Baker, one of the best parts of martial arts is the rush of performing a form and constantly learning new things. She takes pride in her fan forms, which showcase her skill and creativity. She also values the lesson Ripple Effect has taught her: treat everyone the same, no matter their background or experience.

Outside of martial arts, Miss Baker is deeply involved in the performing arts. She loves acting, singing, painting, and reading, and has been recognized for her talents as an Honorary & Exemplary Choir Member as well as Best Spoken Presentation. She also maintains honor roll status.

At home, Miss Baker spends time with her cat, Luna, and continues to push herself to grow in both martial arts and the arts. Her goal at Ripple Effect is to keep learning, make new friends, and continue developing as both a martial artist and an instructor.
