Master Jan Lappin started training in martial arts in the 70’s. She is an accomplished tournament champion and holds a 5th-degree master black belt in Tang Soo Do, a black belt in Judo, and a level 4 instructor in Ki Gong.
Master Lappin graduated from the University of Florida with honors and a degree in Psychology. Her passion has always been helping children. In addition to being a foster parent, teaching parenting seminars, and volunteering in local elementary schools, Master Lappin thrives off of helping Clay County families to develop successful young adults through martial arts and life skill development.
She has been featured in Martial Arts Success Magazine for her unique life skill development program. She leads the instructors of Middleburg Martial Arts in teaching everything from Goal setting to confidence and from focus to self-discipline.
Master Lappin is a certified verbal judo instructor (this is a program originally created for Police officers in Chicago) and teaches this to individuals of all ages as it pertains to bullying prevention at all stages of life. In addition to helping children grow, Master Lappin has created an environment that encourages adults and individuals of all ages to be the best version of themselves.
