Alex has devoted his life to the martial arts for the past 30 years. He started his training at the young age of 3 years old. At 11 years old he was awarded his 1st dan Black Belt in KarakidoKarate. At the time was known as one of the youngest to be allowed to earn the rank and taught as a result. He now holds rank in traditional Oakinwan Karate, Pekiti Tirsia Kali, and is a 4th dan Black Belt in American Taekwondo.
Alex has been managing and operating martial arts schools for the past 16 years. Alex has worked as a consultant helping other martial arts schools across the United States to increase student numbers and revenue. He’s seeded a successful martial arts program in Wilmington, NC. And has trained several thousand students throughout the years.
Alex’s passion is to inspire others to have fun with the martial arts helping them reach goals and accomplish things they never knew were possible. All while instilling a level of Grit, Respect, Self-Control, Health, Self Defense, and Discipline to ensure a bright future.
