She began her martial arts journey at the age of 12, training in Kenpo Karate for a year, but her commitment truly took off in 2014 when she joined Ripple Effect Martial Arts. Inspired to train alongside her son, she set out to prove that she could succeed on the mat. Since earning her first-degree black belt in 2017, Ms. Schnur has advanced to a 3rd-degree black belt, with a strong dedication to lifelong growth in the art.
Currently, Ms. Schnur serves as the Director of Instruction and Curriculum, Prep Cycle Director, and Fort Collins Branch Manager at Ripple Effect. Known for her passion and ability to bring out the best in every student, she finds joy in helping individuals discover their unique potential and watching them develop into leaders.
Beyond martial arts, Ms. Schnur holds a BA in Physics with a Math minor from Bryn Mawr College and pursued graduate training in Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University. Her academic journey led her to work as a research coordinator in an epilepsy clinic, which introduced her to pharmaceutical research. Today, she applies her organizational and multitasking skills as a Senior Director of Project Delivery at ICON PLC.
In her free time, Ms. Schnur enjoys home remodeling and spending time in the mountains. She’s also a proud pet owner, sharing her home with two dogs, Odin and Rocky, and three cats, Charli, Merli, and Joel.
