Angel Nunez

Mr. Angel Nunez is a Colorado native. His martial arts journey began at the age of 7 at Ripple Effect Martial Arts’ Longmont location, where he continues to train and teach today. Inspired by his childhood dream of becoming a Ninja Turtle, Mr. Nunez quickly found a passion for martial arts and earned his first-degree black belt in 2020. He is currently a second-degree black belt, preparing to test for his third degree in May of 2025.

As an instructor, Mr. Nunez is known for his ability to connect with people, building strong relationships with his students and helping them grow. He particularly enjoys the creativity martial arts allows, whether through designing creative forms or finding unique solutions to challenges. Over the years, martial arts has also taught him patience, a skill he brings into both his training and teaching.

Outside of martial arts, Mr. Nunez is an athlete who runs track and field. He also enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Samba, a golden retriever, and Cooper, a husky. Whether on the mat, on the track, or at home, Mr. Nunez is committed to personal growth and helping others succeed in their own journeys. His goal is to continue advancing in his training while inspiring his students to push their limits and embrace creativity.
